Meet our Presenter:

Edo D. Zylstra, PT, DPT, OCS is founder and owner of Kineticare, in Brighton, Colorado, where he focuses on manual therapy and dry needling for pain management. He is a board-certified clinical specialist in orthopaedic physical therapy. Zylstra received his doctor of physical therapy degree and, earlier, master’s in physical therapy degree from Regis University. He received his certification for dry needling from The Institute for the Study and Treatment Of Pain (iSTOP) in Vancouver, British Columbia, and he has taken training courses in the Travell & Simons’ techniques for diagnosis and treatment of myofascial pain and trigger points. Edo was instrumental in getting dry needling accepted as a treatment technique within the scope of practice for physical therapists in Colorado, and he continues to do the same for other states. In 2006 Edo developed and began instructing trigger point dry needling courses. He has taught over 250 courses internationally and currently is developing more advanced techniques for the intervention.
